Part V Implementation


Part V ImplementationThere are ten key steps in implementing Part V agreements.  These are:

  1. Check if Part V applies
  2. Undertake pre-planning consultation
  3. Planning application submitted (with Part V proposal)
  4. Local authority considers proposal and makes decision (if permission granted continue to step 5)
  5. Permission granted with Part V condition attached
  6. Conclude Part V Agreement negotiation
  7. Part V Agreement finalised
  8. Part V Agreement signed
  9. Local authority may issue Letter of Compliance
  10. Commence construction
